1. Product use

The electrical schematic diagram of the column regulator is shown in Figure 2. The rated input voltage is applied to the input end, and the adjustable output voltage can be obtained at the output end by adjusting the position of the column voltage regulator brush on the coil.

Due to the limitation of turn voltage, the maximum unit capacity of single-phase oil-immersed self-cooling products is only 70kVA, and the dry self-cooling products are only 35kVA. To manufacture large-capacity column-type regulators, multi-unit combined column-type regulators should be used. press. If the voltage level exceeds 0.5kV, such as 3, 6, 10kV, the main circuit transformer (main transformer) and the secondary circuit series transformer (series transformer) should also be configured.

1. Product structure

The column type regulator consists of the body, the brush contact system, and the transmission device. The body consists of an iron core and a coil. The iron core is long and cylindrical, and the coil is cylindrical. The surface where it contacts the brush is de-insulated and polished. The brush contact system consists of a carbon wheel, a brush holder and a guide shaft. The carbon wheel has a small directional resistance and a large tangential resistance, which can reduce the contact loss and restrain the short-circuit current between turns; the transmission device is composed of a reducer, a sprocket mechanism and a servo motor. , The sprocket mechanism drives the carbon wheel brush to roll within the voltage regulation range. When the gear output voltage is adjusted to the minimum or maximum position, the limit switch will act to cut off the power supply of the servo motor and stop the voltage regulation. Servo motors usually use DC motors, but also three-phase asynchronous motors.

Small-capacity oil-immersed self-cooling products use corrugated fuel tanks, and medium and large-capacity oil-immersed self-cooling products use tubular or radiator fuel tanks.

For medium and small capacity oil-immersed self-cooling products with transformers (main transformer and series transformer), the column type regulator and transformer can share one oil tank, while for high-voltage and large-capacity oil-immersed self-cooling products, column type regulators and transformers It is intended to be hoisted in their own independent fuel tanks. The voltage regulator is connected to the outside of the transformer, the low voltage is connected with an overhead copper bar, and the high voltage is connected with an overhead cable.

Dry-type self-cooling column regulators are usually shipped as a whole in a cabinet structure.
